They are really adorable without being obnoxious or cheesy. Although the description says "ivory", they are very close to white. I would describe them as a warm white. They definitely look fine next to all my white ceramic platters and bowls.The metal is nicely finished with no dings or messed up glaze, which can happen often with enamelled tin. I only gave this set four stars because the metal is a smidge on the flimsy side, but for this price it's completely worth it. They look pretty boutique-y. The description is a bit misleading about sizes. The exact measurements of the stands are: small: 3 3/8" high x 7 3/4" across the top medium: 4" high x 9 3/4" large: 4 7/8 tall x 11 1/2" (The actual width of each stand is greater because the scalloped sides... But I am trying to display cupcakes. There is not even enough room between the middle tier and the top tier to place ANY cupcakes with a nice swirl of frosting on top. To me, this product is pretty much unusable. And the material is sort of cheap looking and feeling. And then when I inquired about returning it (this was not direct from Amazon - it was from JAF Gifts), I learned that I would have to pay shipping to send it back (already paid $8 shipping to get it), and a restocking fee. I ended up just keeping it because I would lose so much money trying to return it. Ridiculous! I do NOT recommend this product! Save your money! |
