They are in beautiful pastel colors and look great with larger plates, but . . . they are tiny. Miniscule. I guess when I read the description I was thinking they were large enough to hold a 4" cake but all these baby stands will hold is a cupcake. My first inclination was to return them, but I showed them to women I work with, all of whom responded with remarks such as: "these are so cute." "aren't they adorable." "you must keep them." It isn't one solid piece, the base is glued very sloppily to the plate. The base of the stand while it fits in the space isn't an exact fit and you can even see some of the glue. Very poor craftmanship! If you never turn it upside down - it's darling and I suppose officially as described... but buy beware it really is ONLY for a standard size cupcake - larger ones just aren't going to hold up on this little thing. For $17 while I don't expect the size to change, I certainly expected better quality. I would not recommend this product. If it dropped down to $10, I'd give it 3 stars. First of all, the specs on the Product Info are exact, if you read the description it is easy to understand that they are small. I bought these (in all 4 colors), for my wedding. I am doing a cupcake tier with 4 different flavors, so I am going to have these in front of the tower, and each one will hold a different cupcake flavor, so ppl know which are which :) They are the perfect size for a normal cupcake, or even one that's larger. :) |
